back to school.. empower yourself and your family

It’s that time of year again, getting the kids ready for school and heading back indoors, or as we at hellomellow call is “empower o’clock”. It’s been proven year after year that as we give up being outside and in a more relaxed state of being and trade it in for being in closed quarters with the added stress of getting the kids to school, homework, after school activities AND having to work, clean the house, live our lives… we end up starting the never ending cycle of which one of us is sick now?

You see the first sign of watery eyes and sniffles, and here we go…

So why do we call it “empower o’clock”? As some of you who were with us in the very beginning know, empower was originally called immune boost, because that is what it does it! I created empower with the intention of keeping you healthy by using anti-viral and anti-bacterial (naturally) essential oils to keep the icky germs away, relieve congestion (use the empower lip balm and breathe in these cleansing vapors and you will know what I mean) and to keep you feeling strong.

I have customers that religiously take their empower sprays when they travel, to spray their faces and hands to stay moisturized and keep the ick away. I have had reports of families using empower butter to use after every hand wash at Disneyland to have an extra line of defense from all of the germs you are exposed to there, I personally thought that was genius! And of course the empower lip butter, a favorite for both men, women and children, the minty fresh herb blend smells great, keeps you up and focused and with every breathe keeps your system clean.

Personally, this is also the time of year where I grab for the empower body scrub in the shower. The act of exfoliating your skin is extremely healthy for you immune system. It turns over your circulation keeping your systems in top shape, takes off dead skin leaving a fresh powerful barrier (your healthy skin) as your first line of defense against germs and the steam in the shower makes the minty fresh herb smell penetrate your nasal passages and lungs giving you a fresh clean start (or finish if you choose!) to your day.

I’d suggest supplying the troops (you and your gang!) with some empower. Whether you put an empower lip in their pocket, a spray in their lunch or a butter in their backpack or briefcase (yes, don’t forget about the grown ups!) empower your group to stay healthy this back to school season!

have a mellow one,
